(05)Governance & transparency

Partnerships you can trust

How partnerships are run, and the precedent behind them.

  • One master developer

OMRAN Group, part of the Oman Investment Authority portfolio, was appointed by the Government in 2014 to develop Madinat Al Irfan. Partners work with one developer from the first conversation to handover.

  • Clear evaluation

Every proposal is assessed against the masterplan, the business case and the partner's track record, so decisions can be explained at each stage.

  • Omani law, open to the world

Structures follow Omani law, including the Foreign Capital Investment Law of 2019, which allows up to 100% foreign ownership in many sectors.

  • Confidential by default

Commercial information is shared under confidentiality agreements, and plot data is released through a controlled data room.
