Wadi · A valley shaped by seasonal water
Rather than building over the natural wadi, the masterplan makes it the city's defining public space. Wadi Park follows its course from north to south, so every neighbourhood is within a short walk of open space.
The park keeps the wadi’s natural role in managing seasonal water while creating continuous trails, shaded lawns, play spaces and venues for the city’s festivals, from the Wadi Run to Irfan Lights.
