From Irfan Lights in the Wadi Park to the Future Cities Summit at OCEC, eight headline moments shape the cooler months in Madinat Al Irfan.
Madinat Al Irfan has announced its 2026–27 season: eight headline events running from November to March that bring residents, visitors and business audiences into the city's parks, plazas and venues.
The season opens with Irfan Lights, a sixteen-night trail of light installations along the wadi, and closes with Evolve Hack, a weekend in which designers, engineers and students prototype services for the city of tomorrow.
A season built around the city
Every event uses a different part of the masterplan. The Wadi Run follows the shaded trails of the central park, the Madar Night Market fills the retail promenade every Thursday, and the Future Cities Summit takes place in the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, home of the largest fixed-seat auditorium in the GCC.
The season is designed to show how the city works when it is full of people: walkable, shaded, connected and generous with public space.
